Welcome to the Social Innovation Award Application Site

Innovation Starts Here:

The Social Innovation Award is an annual competition that brings budding alumni and corps member entrepreneurs together to compete for up to $100,000 in seed funding and to engage in professional coaching designed for early-stage entrepreneurs to accelerate the development and deepen the impact of their ventures. The Award is intended to spark bold, new innovations that expand opportunities for students in low-income communities and address the root causes of educational inequity. The award is a critical component of Teach For America's broader innovation strategy and recognizes alumni and corps members whose work exemplifies innovation and Teach For America's core values of Transformational Change, Diversity, Leadership, Team, and Respect & Humility.

Our 2017 application cycle is currently closed. Our next application cycle will open in Fall 2018. If you are a prospective applicant, we encourage you to visit the Social Innovation Award website to learn more the Award and our Award winners.
